We might buy a few bags of Burger Rings in the meantime to tide us over. Now, a video has been sent from PepsiCO ANZ to confirming what we were all hoping would be true – Tasty Toobs are coming back, baby! When the much-anticipated revival will happen is still under wraps but until then, we will be waiting with bated breath. Again in 2015, they were unceremoniously stripped from the shelves and we have been craving them ever since. These moreish morsels have had a tragic history – they were first killed off by the snack merchants at Smith’s in 2001 (back when they were called Toobs), only to come back in 2007 as Tasty Toobs. This loaded question revealed that a particular tomato-flavoured bite was still fresh on everyone’s mind – the beloved Tasty Toobs. Not too long ago, online news site called on its readers to vote for which forgotten Aussie snack should come back.
